When trying to plan a perfect event there are a few things you need to make your event successful. The first thing, of course, would be to have someone to plan and organize the event. That’s where I come into play. I’m Andrea Gregory and I’m a public relations student from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. I chose this field because I wanted to use my creative side in my career. All the tools PR professionals need to do their job successfully can help a product or business have a positive turnout.
When taking on a college or university function the best thing to do before planning is to do some research on the school. The FAMU/FSU College of Engineering wants to put on a seminar for incoming freshmen, parents and transfer students to explore the world of engineering. It will give students a chance to understand the fundamentals of math and science and how the two can develop into a dream career. The idea would be to have some engineering firms from all over the United States come and speak to the students and encourage them to look a at their firm for future employment after graduation.
The idea of this seminar would help the Engineering school increase enrollment with students from all over the world. Once they have been informed students will then be able to sign up for this four year program where engineering firms will work with you while you are in school. The Future Engineering program could open doors for students while in Tallahassee. My job will be to make this event as publicize as possible and also target many high school students in their senior year to seize this great opportunity. Keep in touch and watch the development of this event and for new updates until this event starts……..Watch the magic unfolds.
