One of my class mates commented on the first blog entry of the Young Engineers program and the response was very positive and insightful. Mr. Green knows how some students may not know what they would want to do professionally after college and having a program such as this one can be a great guide. He also mentions how this program could full a great void many students are missing, which in my opinion is very true. Getting in a major and not knowing what you would want to do after graduation could leave some graduates lost and without a job for months. But with this program many can have a better chance of getting a job with a company who has been watching the student grow in professional. Like my class mate, Mr. Green, I would love to see something like this succeed in every degree program.
This program put togethr by the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering will help students get one step closer to getting into the engineerig industry. This four yea progrm will allow students to work with real compaines and work on real projects. The seminar will give students an inside look at their college life in this Young Engineers Program and how it will help them build a good relationship with employers.
