The idea of this program has evolved a great deal. Many engineering firms love the idea of grooming young minds as early as their freshmen year in college, this way they can get a head start on business. The Young Engineers program would like to honor students with an opportunity to live their dream in this field.
One of the goals of this program this to help the engineering school increase their enrollment. This is one of many opportunities where students can have a real world experience in civil, mechanical, chemical, structural and environmental engineering. The line up of the program is still in the works, but as for now we have two confirmed engineering firms. Civil Search International was first to jump on board. Their professional recruiter’s team has lined up a wonderful presentation for the future participants.
Another firm who will be attending the seminar is the TLC Engineering for Architecture. This particular firm has done a few buildings on Florida State campus. One of their objectives is to set a new level for educational buildings. It is to serve new populations and use new teaching technologies, our engineers adapt with cutting-edge solutions.
We are hoping for a few more firms to confirm, but this is a great start. The more we update the guest list of firms, we hope students will do the research and have questions ready for the recruiter…….. They may be your first employers.
